Electric Angel: A Tale Of Two Stories

While concept albums are usually conceived from a single concept Electric Angel appears to suffer from a form of schizophrenia in that two stories are simultaneously being told. Originally, I wanted to tell the story of Randy Rhoads's death and legacy from a historical perspective. However, the more I learned about Randy as a teacher and composer it became obvious to me that the human side was missing from the story. I therefore changed the story from a third person perspective to a first person perspective. Ozzy is portrayed by the character "Jimmy" in this concept album. It is a story that searches for the meaning of loss in one's own life. This is about how we learn to try and cope with the world around us and choose to be remembered.
